Family and Christmas … ain’t I right? But it’s not only family, it’s just generally people wanting to spend time together or not. And my new working mode for the holiday is: lets just get those peeps together who are at least kinda interested :) lets say on a scale from 0 to 10, at least a 5.

On coming out the other end of the tunnel (as an entrepreneur)

Today marks the last day of work for our little agency Dinghy. For this year of course. We’ll absolutely be around next year! And that sorta leads me over to the main point here: we’re going to be around next year. And that’s something I’m really proud of. We’ve started this journey around 3 years ago, back then my 2 cofounders and myself. This year one of my cofounders decided to go into another direction, which was a hard truth to swallow but also really necessary for all parties involved for a whole bunch of reasons.

You know when you pop open your trusty dev tools to apply a little creativity to other people’s sites? Today I found this applied to a pricing table with the typical 3 plans and I almost shot coffee out my nose from the shock! 😂 I mean .. what?!

here’s a couple shots I took at the Kolumba Museum. I mean look at this place .. it’s so cool! Just had my phone with me to take pictures that day 🤦

Heard the other day that journaling makes you a better writer. Makes sense I’d say, so I’ll give that a whirl going forward. And instead of sticking all that into a journaling app on my phone, I’ll just take you along for the ride. Running a family and an agency at the same time could come up :)

This one’s from our local museum for natural history, the so called Senckenberg Museum. I think I’m usually not the type of person who gets exited about fossils, but I kinda love this shot .. when I look at it, I get the feeling of „wow so that’s been burried for millions of years“.. #photography

One of the places I can just always visit again is the Palmengarten in Frankfurt, Germany. Litewrally translated into English that means “Palm Garden”. Inside of this marvelous park there’s a huge indoor jungle called the “Palmenhaus” (Palm House). Such a cozy place to hang out!

Alright! Matilda is done making her little half pipe. It’s white and yellow too!

First ever experience woodbending and I’m very happy I had binged so many wood working channels before to remember that a vegetable steamer can work wonders :)

#woodworking

Ah by the way don’t try to glue up a wood bending project with tape alone .. doesn’t hold up :))

Just start (building a little half pipe)

Our house was chosen by a Christmas gnome and she’s building a half pipe 🫠. This is one of those ideas where I got super excited and tell me things like: „how hard can it be? It’s tiny! That’ll be quick“. Of course it’s not quick! But I think this is my strategy to just lie to myself to just get going with things.. I’ll post a new pic every day because Matilda the gnome promised this for the weekend cough

Sometimes … the universe provides

So … I’m not a religious person really but I can totally appreciate that different people believe in different views of the world. I’m more comfortable with the whole “science can explain it all, and if it can’t then we just didn’t understand that thing yet” side of things. BUT … sometimes … I really do stop and wonder, because some things happen that are just a little too crazy to be a coincidence … anyone else know that feeling?
